Modern cars try to insulate you from the road. The Clubman does the complete opposite. It tries to fuse you with the road, bring you close enough to feel every groove, hear every creak, feel the wind wash over you, touch the tarmac through your steering wheel, warm your face with the heat of the exhaust and hear the sound of a car singing a ballad such as you’ve never heard. It’s a driver’s car. Where technology today reigns supreme the Clubman gives itself over to the driver and dares to be pushed. It is the most pure road and track car there ever was and ever will be.
