Thought I’d pop in to say hi and show you my new super-ultra-funky-stylish-cool-sunnies-slash-goggles only to be worn while driving B roads unless I want people to make fun of me… or unless I want to disguise as a fly to infiltrate an army camp or better yet a girls shower at a pillow fighting camp or something something. It does happen.
What you’re looking at here is a pair of $20 plastic glasses with a foam outline that’s clipped on at the bridge section. It comes off with ease to be washed or to wear the glasses without it if you wish. I am not kidding when I say they are the most comfortable glasses I’ve ever tried on. The foam part creates an excellent seal that is easy on the nose, cheeks and brow. It blocks the Sun from all directions making early morning runs around your favourite roads safer. No doubt they will also come in handy around sunset.
These are most definitely glasses you only wear in your car. On my face they are huge and comical but a larger face can possibly wear them well. The brand is Lumiere and will probably be hard to find. If you are interested a search for driving goggles might be a better bet but you would need to weed out all the old school goggles that come up in the search results.
