I can confirm this. I tell no lie.
We are no more than 2 hours in to the weekend and the skies have opened up. Someone is pissing on me. It’s the third weekend in a row the rains have decided to fall on either side of gorgeous sunny weekdays. Could be the fourth knowing how well my memory serves me. What the hell – while I’m whining, I’ll swear to it it’s the 12th weekend in a row it’s raining. You heard me. Twelve weekends in a row. As soon as the weekday clocks out at 5pm on Friday, the rain comes gushing down as if it’s been backed up and it missed its appointment to destroy happiness for all on earth… except for the occupants of The Ark.
Two reasons for my bitter state. I own a convertible and it’s meant to be Summer! Give a guy a break. Second and more important, it’s my first time at Wakefield this Sunday and the forecast is, you guessed it, torrential rain.
You know what, I think I know how to fix my mood. Where did I leave that drill… brb soon, I’m afk drilling holes in Noah’s Ark.
