Took a few minutes (read: hours) to plan my 2011 road trip to Tasmania. With the help of a few locals to tweak it, I think I’ve got close to a perfect tour of the island state. The itinerary gives me the chance to see some of the highlights of the state and note which areas I will wish to visit again when time allows.

There were a lot of twisty roads, little traffic and no cops. Just don’t drive at dusk, lots of wildlife!
