First in a series of short clips featuring outstanding motor sport battles.
On the streets of Adelaide, Larry Perkins attacks John Bowe with a handful of laps left. The track is wet but the race line has dried out and Larry Perkins finds himself on slicks quickly catching up to John Bowe who is on wets and struggling to find speed. For mine, this is phenomenal driving skill on display by two masters which easily makes up for the poor video quality.

by Mark Reyes on 13 Apr 10 at 4:02 pmWhat an excellent piece of driving! Both guys going hard out right up to the finish line! Hardly see any driving like that (i.e. tailout and pushing the cars right on the limit).
Good post!

saw this on that OCAU thread too, fantastic watch.. really liking it.
How is your mx5 treating you? Gotten rid of your 240 yet? that thing looks like a real machine.
by ccc on 03 May 10 at 6:53 pmHey Jack :)
Still loving the MX5. Still getting in it to go for a drive just for the sake of it. Must be in that honeymoon phase still. haha
Sold the 240 after 6 months. Pretty happy with that considering it was such a custom car with a limited market. Could have dragged on a lot longer.
